Spring has finally sprung! While we’ve had a few spouts of extremely odd weather, there’s no denying that the days are getting brighter and the Sun is appearing much more frequently. The Spring is such a great time for breathing new life into your wardrobe. New colours, silhouettes and textures are appearing on the high street and fabrics are becoming lighter. Plus, wedding season is on the horizon, so we’re starting to see an introduction to beautiful, stylish and detailed wedding guest outfits. Yours Clothing have some incredible new pieces that have arrived both in store and on their website, and I’m going to talk you through some of the trends, new lines and how to incorporate them into your lifestyle.

Power Dressing In The Office

If you work in an office and want to still be able to flex your fashionable muscles, then Yours Clothing is going to be your new best friend. From structured boxy jackets over straight legged trousers, to midi tube skirts and more, there are a multitude of ways you can stay on trend but in ‘uniform’. I’d highly recommend investing in a duster jacket this Spring. It will be one of the most versatile pieces in your wardrobe and will not only be great at work for when the office gets a little chilly, but can be used in the evening when you need something to cover up, without letting your outfit down. I absolutely adore the black lightweight duster jacket with it’s waterfall front and roll up sleeves as it can easily  be dressed up, or down, depending on what you need it for. I’ve teamed it here with the Yours London grey and white brush stroke hanky hem mesh dress. The movement and lightness of the fabric in both the dress and the duster will be a welcome addition for when the weather heats up, but you still want to remain chic and professional. Add in a statement necklace and a chunky heel, and you’re ready to conquer your work day!

Floral & Gold Touches For The Day

Nothing says glamour like accents of gold or metallic being incorporated into your outfits. As is the way, florals are very on trend for the Spring, but the way to really give those flowers a fresh new update is to add a little gold into the mix. This stunning pink monochrome skate dress is a great choice for the warmer months, and would be great for Summer picnics, or special get togethers. The material of the dress is soft and flexible, and slightly thick, meaning it will sit flatter, and smoother against the skin.  I’ve teamed it with a chunky knit cocoon cardigan that is an ideal cover up for the Spring, and even the Summer. It is airy and lightweight, and will provide ample coverage without adding any extra heat! Adding in a touch of sparkle, I’ve chosen a pair of lace up canvas trainers in a gold glitter, and a gold glitter skinny belt.

Outfit Three : Spring Wedding Guest Inspiration

Ahh wedding season. Such a beautiful time, but often such a nightmare for guests. Is this outfit too formal? Is it not formal enough? Will I clash with the bridesmaid? Will this match my partner’s outfit? Obviously for some, none of these things matter, and they know exactly what they can rock a their besties wedding. Yours Clothing have some simply stunning dresses, and outfits that would be ideal for wedding guest attire, and I’ve put together a demure yet on trend outfit to inspire you. This Yours London dress has the best of both worlds; a fashionable rich navy coloured lace top, and a cute floral skirt bottom. This is such a striking dress, and would look perfect at every type of wedding this season, from church weddings to beach weddings! I’ve teamed it with a lovely black cropped kimono jacket with flute sleeves, ideal for if the weather is less than perfect. I’ve also included a touch of metallic in the form of a pair of pewter ballerina pumps, a versatile shoe that would be suitable for those who favour flats to heels!
