Hi Ladies, its Hollie here once again, guest blogging from www.prettybigbutterflies.com. I’ve come to tell you about another fabulous Yours Clothing Store opening, this time in Maidstone. I went to the opening last week and I had a great morning. There was already a queue at 9am waiting for the ribbon to be cut, so it was only fair that we handed out bucks fizz to the lovely people waiting. My Miss London Curve sash was a bit of a talking point and of course I had a bit of a chat along the way before the ribbon was cut!
I got involved with blowing up balloons, chatting to the customers about why they were so pleased to have a Yours Clothing in Maidstone and gave out the goody bags. The winner of the £50 voucher (yes there really is a £50.00 voucher somewhere in the goody bags!) was won by a lovely lady who told me how she loved Yours because she knew they would have her size and she liked the bright, fun but comfortable pieces. I’m sure she spent her voucher wisely.
I had the pleasure of meeting Andrew, CEO of Yours Clothing and he was incredibly friendly. What was really nice, is considering he is the top boss, he was so involved in the opening. Helping setting up, talking to customers and even getting his hands dirty with some electrical bits. It shows you the passion that is behind Yours Clothing and it’s still going strong. Everyone at Maidstone worked incredibly hard to make the store look amazing and have everything open and ready on time. Well done team!
There were lots of lovely ladies on hand to offer style advice to customers and there were definitely two favourite’s pieces of clothing on the day. Number one was this Black Floral Print Kimono which was being snapped up (also chosen by Hayley Hasselhoff as one of her favourites when she did the Yours Clothing shoot!). The second favourite seemed to be this pretty silky dipped hem jungle print top. Great choices Maidstone.
Overall it was a real success, the store is kitted out with large fitting rooms and has a great underwear section which was also really popular at the opening. I had a browse at it the other day and saw that people requested a Maidstone branch back in March, believe it or not I actually met the lady at the opening who asked for this (amongst other customers) and we both agreed it’s fantastic that the brand listens to its customer.
