Our Top Tips For Dressing Yourself Happy:

  • Get dressed up. Being in lockdown has meant that most of us are probably making a lot less effort with our clothes and appearance – which is totally fine. But remember, you don’t need an occasion to get dressed up! If you’re feeling a little down, pick a day to choose a nice outfit, style your hair and apply a little makeup – it will do wonders for your mood.
  • Fill your life with colour. One great way to lift your mood is to inject a little colour into your wardrobe. Choose happy colours like bright yellows and pinks to put a smile on your face, or opt for soothing blues and minty greens to make you feel calm and refreshed.
  • Organise your wardrobe. Keeping your clothes tidy and organised will make it so much easier to put together the go-to outfits that make you happy. You could try colour coordinating your wardrobe or dedicating a drawer to your favourite items. This could also be the perfect opportunity to have a good clear out. My advice? If you haven’t worn it in the last six months, get rid. Consider selling on or donating your items so they can be loved and worn again.
  • Wear whatever you want!@Whether that’s a bold statement print, a risque hemline or just a brand new style you’ve never tried before, don’t feel you have to follow the crowd. Find what makes you feel best and show off your style!
